Awesome color job!! I love the eyes in this one!! Looks like some of the lines made you mad. haha I hate it when you try to color in line art and there's still some white pixels hugging the lines. It's tricky getting rid of those excess pixels. Keep up the coloring though! You'll only get better!!
Thank you! ^__^ I actually wanted to give the pic a "darker" side, since it's a darker series. But I'm not happy with several things on this pic. Thank you again! ^__^
Thank you! I wish I would figure out how to give the eyes more that "perfect" look. And yes I got frustrated with coloring this one due to the lines that were on the inked version. I started coloring it and forgot I was suppose to use a different layer for that.
I am wondering now what I can do next so I get more practice with coloring. Any idea?
Thank you Leah! I really appreciate your comment. ^__^ I thought the dark was fitting, because SDK isn't really a bright anime or manga. I thought it's also something different for a change.
oh lord, I've done that before. I've had to start all over before when I've accidently colored or did something to the line layers... Not fun. Don't really have any specific advice for coloring though... Just gotta experiement around a bit. I usually use a TON of layers when I do my coloring... I don't know if it's common for people to use a zillion layers but it makes sense to me. So I guess what you ought to do is...find what clicks for you. The more you experiment the better. And don't worry about getting it perfect on the first try because, I can tell you, you won't. lol I look back at some of the horrible stuff I've done when I first started coloring...and it's really quite laughable. You do get better with time... and checking out tutorials around DA is a good start too. I need to do more of that... Keep up the good work though! With your fancel experience, I'm confident your art will keep getting better!! :hugs:
